Dr. Serebrakian has been in practice in the specialty of Otolaryngology, head and neck reconstructive and plastic surgery since 1986 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Serebrakian, with over 15 years experience in laser surgery, established one of the most comprehensive Laser Surgery centers in the Bay Area in May 1997. He headed the Laser Surgery Safety Committee at Doctors Medical Center, San Pablo Campus. There he also chaired the Department of Surgery and served as Vice President of the medical staff from 1996 to 1997. In recent years, Dr. Serebrakian has developed a special interest in laser surgery of the skin, nose, oral cavity, and sinuses, which lead to advanced training in these areas at Stanford University and UCLA. His experience includes laser treatment of several thousands of lesions and patients with a variety of lesions. He has had extensive experience in laser skin resurfacing for the removal of facial wrinkles, acne and chicken pox scars, laser/IPL treatment of spider veins, birth marks, pigmented brown spots of the face and hands (sun spots), tattoos, and other skin lesions. He has participated in a FDA approved research in laser hair removal and treatment of spider veins.
